Adjusting

Well I survived the first week on my own with two kids! Joseph went back to work on Monday.
It's a weird combination of having lots of time while Mindi (we call her Indi-Mindi) is sleeping to do things around the house and hang with Missy and then when she is awake it seems like they both want things at the same time and I feel pretty stressed! I'll be feeding Mindi but Missy needs help going to the toilet so I'm there trying to nurse the baby and wipe Missy's bum! or holding the baby whilst getting Missy out of the bath and drying her..or trying to put both down for a nap because they are both tired at the same time...get the picture? The other thing which is new for us is spending so much time at home, I was expecting to be constantly overwhelmed with keeping up with the house but I hardly leave the house so that doesn't seem to be a problem.
Missy would happily go for walks all day so it's adjustment for her to be at home so much and I'd happily be out all day too so that's weird for me..although it's only for a short season. I'm just amazed at how much babies sleep, I'd forgotten.
